Matt blows up the dock, causing everyone to rush out to find him. He fights them all. Three more men in a truck chase him off while Larks smuggles Mickey out of the building and into a car. Several policemen show up and tackle Matt, put him in handcuffs, and throw him into a police car. At the same time, Mickey screams for Matt, not realizing that this allows him to hear her exact location. Matt escapes and steals the police car as Larks kills a taxi driver and steals the taxi cab. Matt and Larks engage in a car chase until they crash and Larks takes Mickey into a building. Matt follow them in. Larks threatens to shoot Mickey, but Matt simply repeats the phrase "I don't want to kill you. Let her go." Larks tries to shoot Matt, but he deflects the bullet with his walking stick. After one more warning, Larks shoots again, and Matt deflects the bullet back at Larks, killing him.

Kingpin hears of the "Daredevil" and finds himself worried about this new character.

Matt decides to stay in New York and start a law firm with Foggy. Stick walks by, only warning Matt not to get cocky.

Matt jumps across the rooftops, dressed in his Daredevil costume for the first time.
