Wally and Eobard Thawne charge at each other and smash together with explosive force. Meanwhile, elsewhere in the facility, Grodd takes mental control of a fleeing scientist and forces him to open a door locked by a palm scanner. In the locked laboratory he finds his father inside a containment tube.

In Barry Allen's lab; Rudy, Elenore Thawne and the Rogues were protected from the explosion by force field bubbles. Wally climbs out from under some rubble and Rudy runs up and hugs him. He tells Wally he's sorry for everything that's happened. Thawne also emerges from under the rubble and dashes away, leaving a trail of destruction behind him. Wally chases after him, ignoring Rudy's calls for him to stop. Thawne and Wally run out of the mountain into the living quarters of Fort Fox. Thawne lays waste to the building as he runs through them, Wally yells at him to stop, and when he doesn't Wally leaps up and kicks Thawne in the back of the head, sending them both crashing to the ground.

Thawne gets up and grabs Wally by the throat. He smashes Wally into the ground and rains blows down on him, yelling that he saw "God" and that God told him he was "the one" and "alpha and omega". Suddenly he is hit by a blast from the cold gun and a lightning bolt and turns to see Rudy and the Rogues behind them. Trickster flies in riding on a boomerang carrying parts of the portal machine and throws two spheres to the ground, which open up a rift into Still Point. The force of the portal pulls Thawne towards in, but he grabs onto the ground and is able to resist it. Captain Cold shoots Thawne again to try and push him through but Thawne keeps his grip. Rudy tells Wally that he's sorry he wasn't a better father and that he loves him, then tackles Thawne through the portal which closes behind them.

Wally yells at the Rogues to reopen the portal but they refuse, saying that they promised Rudy. They blow up the modified boomerang, making it impossible to access Still Point. Wally is determined to go in to save him, but Trickster tells him she can't rebuild Barry's equipment and that Elenore Thane, who may be able to, ran away in the confusion. Cold says that they'll help Wally track Thawne down but he refuses, angrily saying that they've done enough and he'll find his father himself. He runs away until he has an anxiety attack and collapses to the ground crying. Wally later runs to central City and returns to the Dibney mission.

Back at Fort Fox the Rogues, including Trickster and Project Wizard, loot equipment and steal a new Prowler tank. Captain Cold tells them that as far as he is concerned they are now free agents and they fly away. Meanwhile, Grodd and his father make their way out of Fort Fox and walk through the surrounding mountains. When they reach a ridge and see a town in the valley below, Grodd's father stops. Grodd asks him why and his father replies that he sees men ahead. Grodd says that the bad men are gone, but his father says all men are bad, and all men will pay.
