G.I. Joe Vol 1 #105

The Joes are on a mission in Sierra Gordo, where they encounter a group of Razorbacks that they must hold off. Despite their efforts, the Locust is hit and crashes at the rendezvous point. Darklon, the enemy leader, is invited to lead the attack but pulls back, allowing Hot Shot and Wild Bill to take over the Raider's weapons. Meanwhile, in Borovia, the White Clown is celebrating the fall of the communist government and the fact that they can free Magda from the gulag. However, Orlovsky is concerned about the ruthless behavior of Snake-Eyes. A group of partisans block their way to the gulag, but the White Clown is confident that Snake-Eyes can get through.

As the Joes continue to fight in Sierra Gordo, they come under attack from gun emplacements. The Razorbacks are no longer a threat, as the Tucaros take them out. Darklon surrenders, and Flint and Wild Bill decide to use him as leverage to get a new rainforest. In New York, Hawk fills Scarlett in on the situation in Borovia, explaining that Snake-Eyes was sent in to rescue George Strawhacker to take his mind off Scarlett being in a coma, but the government doesn't want Strawhacker back, and Scarlett isn't in a coma.

Snake-Eyes launches a one-man attack on the gulag, cutting down everyone he sees. The White Clown is delighted, but Orlovsky is disgusted by his blood-lust. They see Metz's helicopter coming in to land, and although the White Clown thinks he's on their side, Orlovsky doesn't trust him. On board the helicopter is Major Bludd, who is under orders from General Crowther to kill Snake-Eyes.

The Joes fight to hold off the enemy, while Snake-Eyes battles his way through the gulag. The White Clown and Orlovsky have different opinions on Snake-Eyes' actions, and tensions rise as Major Bludd arrives to kill him. Meanwhile, in New York, Hawk, Scarlett, and General Crowther discuss the situation in Borovia and the involvement of Storm Shadow.
