In Batman Vol 1 #423, titled "You Shoulda Seen Him...", a group of off-duty police officers share stories about their encounters with Batman while on duty. Each story shows a different side of Batman's character: Saving a suicidal addict, Stopping a hostage situation, Rescuing orphans from the street, and Promising children that no one will separate them.
