Galactus is not able to find the Silver Surfer, so he determines to attack the Fantastic Four until they give up his location. No matter what he does to them, the Fantastic Four will not be defeated. It's when he threatens the Earth with a giant meteor that Reed agrees to find the Surfer for Galactus.
