Professor X takes the X-Men to a lab where he builds a device to amplify his mental projections. He then sends a thought wave into the city to find allies to help defeat the Juggernaut. Meanwhile, Cyclops and Angel try to keep the Juggernaut at bay with Cyclops' optic blasts, but the Juggernaut breaks through and overpowers them.
